Studio Miron is an online store operated by Miron Digital, registered in the Belgian company register Kruispuntbank van Ondernemingen (KBO) under the company number above.
General Provisions
These terms apply to every offer on studiomiron.co.uk and to every order placed by a visitor to the online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Any exceptions must be agreed in writing in advance; only then do they apply. These terms are available in English only; by placing an order, you agree to be bound by the English version.
We may change these terms in accordance with legal requirements. For your order, the terms shown on the site at the time of ordering apply. What we do with your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Offer and Prices
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT (where applicable) and other legally required taxes.
- Any postage or administration costs are stated separately and are shown before checkout. For the United Kingdom you see the postage costs at checkout. To the United States and Canada we deliver free with UPS Express on orders from $100; below that you pay $9.95. To Belgium and the Netherlands postage is free from €35 and costs €3.95 below that; to the other EU countries it is free from €75 and costs €8.95 below that. Postage rates are shown at checkout in your local currency.
- Prices apply only to the products as described. Photos may contain decorative elements that are not part of the product and therefore not included in the price.
- We present our products and descriptions with the greatest care, but information may be incomplete or contain an error. Obvious mistakes and typing errors are not binding. If a price is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and we refund immediately. If you have questions about sizes, materials or availability, please contact us before ordering.
- Colours may differ slightly from screen to screen compared with the printed result. That is not a defect.
- Offers remain valid while supplies last and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Ordering and Payment
The contract is concluded once you have completed your order and we have confirmed it by email. You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express), with PayPal, or with iDEAL or Bancontact. All payments run through a secure, encrypted environment and cost you nothing extra. We only process your order after payment has been received.
In the event of payment problems, incomplete details or suspected fraud, we may delay or cancel an order. In the online store you pay in advance. If you order as a business on invoice and payment is not received, interest is due from the due date under the applicable rules, and the products remain the property of Miron Digital until they have been paid in full.
Delivery
We deliver to the delivery address you provide with your order. Our delivery area covers the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Orders received on a business day before 3pm (CET) usually leave the studio the same day; personalised print adds up to one business day of processing time. In the United Kingdom your parcel then normally arrives within 2 to 5 business days, in Belgium and the Netherlands within 1 to 2 business days, in the other EU countries within 2 to 5 business days, and in the United States and Canada within 2 to 5 business days with UPS Express. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver in any case within 30 days of your order. If we cannot, we will let you know and you may cancel the order free of charge. Because we send from Belgium, parcels to countries outside the EU, including the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, may be subject to customs duties or import taxes; those charges are your responsibility, we have no control over them and cannot predict their amount. It is also your responsibility to make sure the products you order comply with local laws and regulations in your country.
If your parcel is visibly damaged or items are missing, please let us know as soon as possible, preferably within 8 days, with a photo and a short description, and we will arrange a solution. Reporting quickly helps us with the carrier, but it is not a condition: if you report it later, you simply keep your rights under the warranty below.
The risk of loss or damage passes to you as soon as the order is delivered to you or to someone you have designated.
Right to Cancel
This right applies to customers purchasing as consumers, and under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have it by law. You have 30 calendar days, counted from the day you receive your order. Within that period you may cancel the contract without giving a reason.
Products in the standard version can simply be returned. The fact that we only print them after your order does not make them custom-made; the right to cancel therefore applies in full. The only exception is personalised print: all personalised products are made to your specifications, such as a name, text, photo or design, and are excluded from the right to cancel. If you choose a product in the standard version, without a name or personal text, you simply have the 30-day return period. If something is wrong with the print, we solve it under the warranty below.
Tell us clearly within 30 days that you are cancelling, by email or by post. Then send the products back within 14 days, ideally unused, in the original packaging and together with your order number or proof of purchase. If you have used an item beyond what you would do in a shop, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund. Return postage is at your expense, unless we agree otherwise.
We refund no later than 14 days after your notification, using the same payment method you used. We may wait until we have received the products back or you show that you have sent them, whichever comes first.
How to cancel, what it costs and how quickly you get your money back is explained on Shipping & returns. There you will also find the cancellation button and the model form.
Warranty
All our products carry the statutory rights a consumer has, including personalised print: goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If you live in the United Kingdom, those rights come from the Consumer Rights Act 2015; Belgian law gives consumers the same protection. Nothing in these terms limits them. The warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, an accident, normal wear or improper care. Was your order delivered damaged, printed incorrectly or not as ordered? Email us at hello@studiomiron.com. Include your order number or proof of purchase and a photo, and we will arrange a suitable solution at no cost: usually a reprint, otherwise a refund. These statutory rights are separate from the right to cancel and do not limit any of your other rights.
Intellectual Property
All designs, texts and images on studiomiron.co.uk are our own work. The copyright belongs to Miron Digital. You buy a physical product, not rights to the design: copying, reproducing, reselling or commercial use is not allowed without our written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, email us at hello@studiomiron.com. We respond as quickly as possible and within 14 days at the latest, and we will look for a suitable solution together with you.
If your complaint is not resolved after we have handled it, you can as a consumer submit a request for out-of-court dispute resolution to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst), a qualified entity for alternative dispute resolution in our home country. Always try to reach a solution directly with us first; that is also a condition for opening a file. You will find the official information and the file form at the Consumer Mediation Service. The service is located at Koning Albert II-laan 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, and can be reached at contact@consumentenombudsdienst.be or +32 2 702 52 00.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law, because Studio Miron is run from Belgium. As a consumer you always keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live: if you live in the United Kingdom, UK consumer law continues to apply unchanged, and you can bring a dispute before your own courts.
