FAQ
Good to know
Question not listed? Our customer service is happy to help.
Can I combine products in the same style?
Yes, that is exactly the idea. Each style runs from fill-in cards to posters, gift bags and decorations. Everything comes together as a whole, without hunting down matching pieces.
What paper do you print on?
We print our baby shower cards and posters on FSC® certified Premium Biotop 300 g/m² paper. Confetti is made from FSC® certified Biotop 250 g/m² paper. For products in a different material, the material choice is listed in the product description. You can read more in the FAQ.
Which products can I personalise?
For many products you choose the personalised version and add a name, a date or a short text. Each product page shows exactly what is possible.
What are the shipping costs?
To the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada we ship free from £100 with UPS Express; below that you pay £9.95. To Belgium and the Netherlands postage is free from €35, otherwise €3.95; to other EU countries it is free from €75, otherwise €8.95. We deliver throughout the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada; checkout shows the exact costs in your local currency. Order on a weekday before 3pm and your order usually goes out the same day. You can read more on the Shipping & Delivery page.
Can I return my order?
You can return non-personalised products within 30 days of receiving them; contact us first so we can register your return. Personalised products are made especially for you and cannot be returned. If anything is wrong with the print or the delivery, we will of course always sort it out.
Baby Shower Welcome Sign
A personal welcome for the baby shower
With a baby shower welcome sign, your guests feel welcome from the very first step. Place the sign at the entrance, next to the gift table or by the snacks: one glance and everyone knows the party starts here. Every welcome sign can be personalised with a name and is available as a poster or sign, in sizes A4, 30x40 and 50x70. That way you choose exactly the size that suits your spot. You get the most beautiful effect when the sign returns in the rest of the styling. So combine it with baby shower decorations in the same style, from Boho Beertje to Flower Power, and finish the table with matching baby shower table decorations. Browse the collection and choose the welcome sign that suits your baby shower.
A baby shower begins the moment guests walk in. With a welcome sign, guests know right away they're in the right place and the room feels cared for. It's a small detail with a big effect, especially when the baby shower is at a venue guests have never visited before.
Welcome sign with a name
A sign with a name makes the baby shower more personal. You can use the mum-to-be's name or choose a general text if the baby shower is a surprise. A personalised sign is also a lovely keepsake: after the party, many parents hang it in the nursery or keep it with the filled-in cards from that day.
Poster or sign?
A poster is light and easy to display in a frame. A sign feels sturdier and looks lovely on an easel or table. Choose what suits the venue. If you're celebrating indoors in a fixed spot, a poster in a frame is a calm choice. If the welcome stands by a door or in a walkway, a sign offers a bit more stability.
A4, 30 x 40 or 50 x 70
The size depends on the spot. A4 suits a table or small space. 30 x 40 works well at an entrance. 50 x 70 stands out more and suits a larger venue. Torn between two sizes? Think about the distance from which guests first see the sign. The further away that moment is, the larger the size can be.
Where do you place the welcome sign?
Place the sign at the entrance, by the gift table, next to a snack table or by a backdrop. Make sure guests see it right away. A spot at eye level works best, for example on an easel, a sideboard or a narrow table. The sign is also a lovely spot for photos: guests like to stand next to it, so the name of the baby shower naturally appears in the loveliest snapshots.
Combine with table decorations and cards
The welcome sign looks its best when the rest of the details share the same style. Combine it with invitations, menu cards, fill-in cards and favours. Choose Boho Beertje in beige and sand for a soft look, for example, or Gingham for a fresher feel, and let that style return on the table with baby shower table decorations and in the baby shower cards. If you'd rather arrange everything in one go, our baby shower sets include a welcome sign in the same style alongside cards, fill-in cards, games and favours.
Frequently asked questions
What do you put on a baby shower welcome sign?
Choose a short text, for example Welcome to [name]'s baby shower or Baby shower [name]. Add a date or a short wish if you like. Keep the sign calm: one clear message reads better than many lines of text, especially when guests glance at the sign in passing.
Can the name go on the welcome sign?
With many designs the name can be added. Check per product which personalisation is possible. If the baby shower is a surprise and you're not sure whether the mum-to-be will see the preparations, choose a general welcome text. That keeps the secret safe while the sign stays personal.
Where do you place the welcome sign?
At the entrance, gift table, snack table or a visible spot in the room. Choose the place where guests arrive first, so the sign does its job right away. Set it at eye level, for example on an easel or sideboard, and make sure it doesn't disappear behind coats or balloons.
Does the sign match other products?
Yes, choose the same Studio Miron style as the cards, fill-in cards or table decorations. All styles, from Boho Beertje to Flower Power and Bosdieren, return throughout the whole range. That way the welcome sign naturally matches the invitation guests received at home and the table they see inside.
Why is a welcome sign a lovely idea?
It makes the room instantly personal and gives guests a warm reception. It's also a natural photo moment and, afterwards, a tangible keepsake of the day. In our article why a welcome sign should not be missing you can read more about it.
Is a poster suitable as a welcome sign?
Yes. A poster in a frame can work beautifully as a welcome sign. A frame gives the poster sturdiness and a polished edge, and you can reuse it after the baby shower. Choose a frame in a calm colour that suits the style of the design.
Which size do you choose?
Choose A4 for small spots, 30 x 40 for an entrance and 50 x 70 for larger spaces. Also look at what you already have at home: if you own an easel or a large frame, 50 x 70 makes sense, and for a spot on the gift table A4 is often just right.
Can you reuse the welcome sign after the baby shower?
Yes, many parents give the sign a second life. A personalised sign looks lovely in the nursery or during newborn visits, and a general welcome text can be set out again at a next party. That way the sign stays more than decoration for a single afternoon.
